Designed for manual handlers and management who undertake manual handling and/or responsible for staff engaged in such activities, you will be familiarised with current Manual Handling H&S legislation, hazard and risk recognition and avoidance, lifting techniques and injury prevention.

Manual Handling and Lifting Courses can be held at either your own venue or at an external venue and are regularly held at a number of different venues across the UK.

  • Know the importance of mechanical aids
  • Recognise features of the working environment that affect Manual Handling
  • Know the importance of good housekeeping
  • Know some of the factors affecting individual capability
  • Use good Manual Handling techniques

Course Duration:

  • 1/2 day

At the end of the course a certificate is provided to confirm successful completion of the training.
