Asbestos Awareness Training - £495 for 15 people (At your premises)

Training

Encompassed Limited are providers of Asbestos Awareness Training. The course is designed to satisfy the HSE's requirements described in the new Regulations. Courses are held at your own venue or at an external conference centre. Up to 15 delegates are permitted on each course, the content of which will be tailored towards your particular area of work. Training takes 3-hours and includes practical aspects and a test at the end of the course. Upon completion of the course, a certificate valid for 12 months will be issued to the delegate, in line with HSE guidance.

Asbestos Awareness Training covers the following topics:

  • The properties of asbestos and its effects on health, including its interaction with smoking,
  • The types of products or materials likely to contain asbestos,
  • HSE's video 'How are you today?'
  • The operations which could result in asbestos exposure and the importance of preventive controls to minimise exposure,
  • Managers Responsibilities
  • Role of Asbestos Surveys
  • Safe work practices, control measures, and protective equipment,
  • The purpose, choice, limitations, proper use and maintenance of respiratory protective equipment,
  • Emergency procedures,
